I have been bringing all my cars here ever since I got my license when I was 16, and they were even at a different location. Everyone who works at Coastline is extremely friendly and I've never once had a bad experience when dealing with the guys in the office, or with the gentleman working on my car. Coastline is close to home for me, and whenever they have needed to order parts for my car, it never takes more than just two days. They also have a complimentary shuttle for transportation if you don't have someone to pick you up when you leave your car there. They are wonderful! Keep up the good work guys!!!

I purchased 4 new tires for my vehicle. The price for the tires, balance and alignment was almost $175 less than the dealer. I got the car in a couple of hours as promised.
I saw some recent yelp postings and almost didn't go in. However I've been there 3 different times over the past couple of years due to a nail (twice) and a medal object that cause my tire to go flat. They quickly repaired my tire each time and didn't charge me. The employee there at the time just said, "next time you need tires or repair, come back and give us your business". Well I did for the tires and it was a very good and cost saving experience.

I went in a few nights ago when I was passing by on foot and asked how much it would be to have a rear turn signal bulb replaced. The man at the counter was friendly and helpful, and quoted less than $40- or way less than $40 if it turned out to be super quick and easy. I went in with the car today and another gentleman behind the counter took my info, brought my car back, and reappeared with it in the service drive no more than 5 minutes later. The job was done, and he said it was so easy he didn't even want to charge me. I'll definitely be going back to them for future maintenance and repairs on my car, and my husband will, too! I'm thrilled to have found a shop near home that actually seems to be staffed with kind, quality folks! Penske Chevrolet wanted $69 for the labor it would've taken them to do the same job this friendly fellow did in just a few minutes! It really made my day, and converted me into a return customer FOR SURE!

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and super efficient. I had popped in on my way home from work late afternoon and i was in and out in 15 minutes. They didn't try to upsell because I just needed a rotation but I got to know what services they offer and the place had a personable hometown vibe. We have been taking our cars here for over 10 years and we always get excellent service. Ben is genuinely, the nicest and most honest car guy around. Their shop is very clean if you need to wait, they even have drinks and fresh licorice. They are always very fair on price and never tell you that you need more than what needs to done. If you are worried about who to trust, fear not, this shop is honest and fair.

My brake light went on last weekend so I scheduled an appointment online with a shop in Long Beach. It was highly recommended that I have all 4 rotors and brake pads replaced along with the 2 sensors. Immediately. I was shown the "damage" and was told that the brake fluid had an extremely high copper level. The sensors were stretched, about to snap. And the cobwebs, had my car been sitting for an extended period of time? I agreed that I did not want to be a statistic by not taking this care of ASAP to the tune of $1095.00
Thank goodness I got a second opinion. Louie at Coastline Auto Care found that the brake fluid level was low, and the reason my light went on. He showed me the copper testing strip that showed a slight copper level, nowhere near where there should be concern. He gave me a quick education on how brakes work and what to look for in the future. I should be good for another 5,000 miles.

The Store Manager Gary and Coastline auto care front desk staff (Steve and Martin ) and the shop repairmen really care about you and your car. They listen. They give you options. They follow through with the work that needs to be done and if your not satisfied or you need to come back, they are ready to fix the problem. I was satisfied and impressed with their hometown and professional attitude.

So I am beyond broke right now and needed my tire looked at ( I'm tire knowledge impaired). I called Coastline and spoke with Gary. He said to bring it in and they would look at it. When I got there Steve helped me and he gave me the blunt honest truth about what was wrong with my tire. And he explained it in a way that made sense to me. He didn't try to haggle me or sell me anything. He spoke to me like a person, which is beyond amazing. I want to commend both Gary and Steve for being nice, personable people who helped me at a time when I needed it. Needless to say I will take all my tire needs to them in the future (aka - when I get paid).

Fast & efficient
While getting gas before my trip back to my home in Las Vegas, I noticed a very low tire. I pulled into Coastline Auto Care to have them check the tire. They were on the problem within minutes. Sure enough they found a small nail in my tire. They repaired it and balanced it and put it back on the car. When I asked what was the charge, they said, "no charge." They knew that I lived in Vegas and would not be back for future business but they still did it gratis. How cool is that!
